Once upon a time in a far far away country lived a minty guy. He was called minty, because his house was built from mints. He was traveling a lot and many people found him a kind and pleasant guy, he was empathatic and always had a bag of mints with him to give people in despair and unhappy moments. When they took his mints they felt comfy and happy inside.
Living happily in his far away minty house and traveling the world he didn’t think that one day his life would change. One day an ond man knocked on his door asking for a cup of tea to warm up after a long journey. The minty guy let him in, made a tea and sat down next to an old man, watching him with curiosity. Something interesting and intriguing there was in this man. The man was grateful saying that he knocked in many doors.
The minty guy asked a lot of questions to an old man, where he came from, what he saw. When leaving the old man told the guy, soon you would go on a adventure for your life time, open your heart, be ready to see the right moment, don’t miss it. The minty guy thought in heart, what a funny old man, my life is full of adventures already with travelling, meeting people, studying and working.
A few weeks have passed and nothing new happened to the minty guy, he almost forgot about the old man and his prediction. One day he was bored and decided to look at the dating app. Scrolling down among various beautiful girls, his attention was caught by a cheesy girl. He couldn’t say she was beautiful but she had something he was curious about, her smile was kind, but her eyes seemed to be sad.
The minty guy didn’t remember how he wrote hey to her and got an reply. She told him she was living in a far away land, and they matched only because she was visiting the minty guy’s land on a mission to bring cheese back home. In her life there were dark times, cheese was the only pleasure. The cheese girl and minty guy became good mail-friends, sharing many stories, pictures, having long conversations. Though the cheesy girl was very sweet, easygoing and smily, the minty guy found out she was living in a dark cage for a long time, only a few times per year she was allowed to go abroad to buy some cheese.
During this period they became close to each other. They both realized how their lifes had changed, they couldn’t imagine the day without sharing warm messages in the morning and in the evening telling about the day. Remembering the words of the old man the minty guy decided to go on an adventure to meet this cheesy girl. He packed his all bag with mints thinking: i know how my mints effect on people, they make them happy, I’ll safe this girl from her dark cage. They met and no mints were needed for the cheesy girl to feel happy with the minty guy. He brought light, life, sun, stories and everything in her heart she forgot it actually existed. For him she also became an inspiration and happiness.
After their first small adventure was over, it was time to go back to their lives. At that period the minty guy became busier with the other important things in his life, and the cheesy girl being impressed by the changes he made in her continued dreaming about him. This time brought the best stories she has ever written in her life. At the same time her cage pressed her more and more, she felt as if she couldn’t breath there anymore.
Finally, came the moment of their second adventure. Being extremely happy to see her minty guy again, she felt as his kisses became even more minty and sweeter. They had an amazing and exciting adventure together, slow, comfy and relaxing. The minty guy brought her cheese that touched her deeply. She had no doubt she fell in love with this guy.
One sleepless night when the minty guy was deeply in sleep and she was watching him, she started to fear what if his feelings for her would fade away, she closed her eyes and saw an old man sitting on a bench. He told her to come closer and sit next to him. Holding her hand, he said: ” your life was tough, your fears are big and they create this dark cage you’re in. The minty guy’s light, care and love can’t save you, even if he wanted to do it very much. The light inside yourself you need to find.”
She opened her eyes, her minty guy turned around, he kissed her with his minty lips and continued sleeping. Something changed in her that moment. Next morning it was time to say goodbye again to each other. The cheesy girl said: my dear minty guy, you changed my life, opened things in me i didn’t know about, you brought me cheese, you gave me care and I’m very grateful for that, but the next steps I’m going to do myself to safe myself from a dark cage, that next time we’re meeting I have my light inside me.
