Valentine

God said it’s not good to be alone for a person…that I was always remembering on the 14th of February. Well, not true… I started to think about it 1-2 weeks before. My mind was hecticly scrolling for men from whom I could get some nice words on that special day. Everything around reminded me of how couples are happy together, how people love each other so much that they make super crazy things on that day to show that to their other half. So I was finding a victim, from whom I was waiting and expecting to get at least a message saying: “hi”. Surely, he should have done it…we were a few times on a date and he was smiling to me, he must have been secretly in love and this is a perfect romantic moment to throw his feelings on me. Well better with a bunch of 1000 roses. Maybe I don’t like them, but that’s what men usually do to show affection to loved women, aren’t they? Closer to the day my anticipation grew higher and higher. On the day itself shining happily I was checking my phone for messages, staring at couriers with flowers coming to the office (surely this one should be for me). Nah, not this one….Another Valentine’s Day alone with a glass of wine sending messages to girlfriends saying how I hate this day…

Today 14th of February 2020 I woke up and while turning off the alarm clock I saw a message from my Awesome: “hey, how are you doing, my love?” A big smile came on my face and I turned on another side and continued comfy dreaming. Finally God’s words have a meaning…it’s not good to be alone, it’s a great blessing to be with a right person, who you love and know loves you back not on a one specific day, but every day when sending a morning message, asking how are you during the day, laughing and making our own website, writing stories together, finding a moment to call wishing nite nite. This is the second Valentine’s Day of my life when I’m with you, my dear Awesome. Even far far away my feelings are not fading away, they become stronger and stronger as everyday I see things that admire me about you. And I know I love you not for something specifically but fully who you are…just Awesome. Thank you for giving small moments of love every single day
