Just a wondering question for the day. Have you ever imagined how it is to be a squirrel? Just a nice hairy tree walker that jumps from branch to branch. At this moment you know winter is coming and you have to so the harvesting on the ground for all things the trees want to give you. Nut by nut you want to collect them all. Most of the time you are alone and if there would be any creature nearby, you would protect your precious stash from everyone that wants to take it. One day you do your thing and some human walks to you. He observes you and looks at what you are doing. First, you are anxious that this person would do you harm, but soon he decides to sit down at a bench. At this moment you are curious because you smell something. It is the smell of warm nuts he’s carrying with him in a small paper bag. Curious as you are you slowly find your way to him. He smiles when you are standing at your two feet in front of him. Charming as he is he offers you some. Slowly you start to trust this person as he is feeding you. Not much later you climb on his arm, neck, and shoulders while he is still feeding you. At some moment there is one nut left and he shares it with you.
Would you run away afterward or would you come back with a handful of nuts from your important winter stash to enjoy together? Perhaps he will walk away too afterward or you both will eat your whole stash and if you don’t have a stash you will starve to death in the mid of winter.
